Introductions from Nancy: The Tale of Perrin's Creation

A few weeks ago a few ladies were having a conversation about how fun it would be for them to have a traveling doll.  A little world traveler...to go and visit folks all over the world.

I mentioned it to the ladies here and they all thought it was a such a great idea, in fact Jess suggested we all make an evening of it, hang out and make something incredibly cute.  So we set a date.

We held votes for the size, skin, hair and eye colors.  Once we had all the details ironed out, we set a date and time for the get together.

We all had fun visiting, laughing and of course sewing our girl one by one.

Right about now is the time to introduce you all to the ladies...they are an amazing group of incredibly talented mamas.

Christine sews the our knit fabric and shoes...she also is the mama who makes our Critters.
Nell is the incredibly talented mama who crochets our wigs.

Jo, Jess, Lindsey and Laurette all assemble the bodies.  These are some seriously gifted women.

Lindsey also knits up some adorable sweaters and stocking caps.  She also helps attach hair...she will be helping me with the regular day to day stuff as well as dying the yarn.

Meredith sews all our clothes...I do not have a picture of her,  she came and left early...way before the camera came out.

Anyway, it was a fantastic evening and we all had so much fun.  Our little traveling girl came together flawlessly.

The following week,  sweet Perrin was sent on her way to her first destination.
-Nancy, creator of Dragonfly's Hollow Dolls

There is no denying that the ladies behind Dragonfly's Hollow are phenomenal and that a lot of love goes into these handmade creations. A huge thank you to Nancy for taking time out of her busy schedule to put this blog post together.  I think we all have the same question though:  Where is the picture of Nancy? Maybe next time she will introduce us, but in the meantime, you can read all about Nancy here

Look who sent me a picture to add!  Thank you Nancy!
